☺The modern apartment was beautiful (and I'm not a fan of modern) Lovely high perspective down onto the street or across to other old terraced buildings. Close these curtains at night for privacy, but you can keep others open. Fabulous kitchen with bar island or dining area; everything you need. Bath and shower options plus comfortable beds. Great location just to stroll into town or anywhere else. I've stayed in a wide variety of hotels and apartments in St Andrews. This was one of my favourites.  I would happily return.

☹The directions to the below level garage. It said you can park outside while you get the keys from the door lock. Thus, I ended up along the narrow lane at the front (a walking lane only) and scraped my car reversing out, something I've never done in 5 years of having it. Clearer instructions to go down the hill slowly,  slightly past the apartment block then turn in behind it and park the car, briefly, to get the keys from the upper level front door. Just returned from a stay in Lodge 173 at Stewarts Resort St Andrews. The lodge is brand new and everything was immaculate.  We enjoyed the hot tub and having robes provided was a lovely touch. We have stayed at 2 Auld Burn Road house in St Andrews. The place was very clean spacious and with great location in a quiet neighborhood with a few minute walk to the center of town. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. The service from Shortstay St Andrews was great and they were always there when we needed them. Highly recommended. ☹Could put more effort into the garden area, fencing off the bins and putting some more decoration to make it less bare. For us it was a real home from home. The house is very well equipped and had great personality. Located in a peaceful and quiet spot at Earlsferry beach.  Fantastic views to East Lothian and the Bass Rock and N Berwick law. Lots of options for dining inside and outside (if the weather allows -- we were lucky). ☹Wanted to make this our go-to place, but the WiFi problem is a deal breaker. We followed instructions in the guest book to find the network, but even after rebooting the router, modem, and our devices, it still did not show. We called and were told a ticket would be put in, but we never heard back. We emailed the address in the guest book and messaged through Booking.com, but never heard back from either. Eventually we found an unsecured guest WiFi but it was slow and kept disconnecting us so we ended up spending our time in cafes to work on unsecured cafe WiFi. I recently had a wonderful stay in the St Andrews Lodge Park. The Lodge I stayed was brand new, with a modern set up inside. All facilities were provided and Irene was spotless. Harbour View Anstruther
Good instructions for the key box and well communicated. Enough space with incredible views of Anstruther harbour and beyond. Well equipped without being fussy. Good location for local amenities. Perfect holiday let
The property was first class to stay in. Location is perfect too. This is our second stay at Skye Sands St Mary’s Gardens St Andrews holiday lets, it has a dedicated parking space which is another huge positive. I would definitely recommend these properties, they also have many other excellent properties all of equal quality and design. I cannot overstate how beautiful this place is - lovely attention to detail in the renovation - but most of all making wonderful use of the glorious East Neuk light and view down over the field towards St. Andrews and the sea. We had a very satisfactory summer stay at Westview House in St Andrews. The house is all on a convenient ground floor, clean, spacious and bright, with a comfortable living area, three rooms with firm and comfortable beds, three new full bathrooms and satisfactory Wi-Fi overall.
The interior is easy to keep clean as carpets are only in the bedrooms.
The new kitchen is practical, though it would be a lovely touch if a few coffee capsules were provided upon arrival for the top-of-the-range coffee machine as they couldn't be bought in local shops at the time, unless ordered in advance through the agency (worth reading all the pre-arrival info carefully!).

☹The apartment is adjacent to one of the main streets in St. Andrews. This is fine if you are accustomed to hearing vehicle and pedestrian noise and traffic day and night. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it. (The map showed location of unit a few buildings down from street, but unit is located next to street).

Recently we stayed at the company's Lamond Drive House in St Andrews. The house was spacious and clean and refurbished to a very high standard. The managing company was very proactive and kept us updated and were quick to reply to our messages.

The location of the place was perfect, very central and walking distance to the nearby attractions.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, inside & out. Very well maintained and pristine condition and the decor absolutely beautiful. View out to St Andrews was stunning from the bedroom and the living room bifold doors. We were very lucky with the weather it was so warm and the bifold doors with the sun streaming in was just beautiful and just so peaceful. Excellent location short walk and even shorter drive into St Andrews with an abundance of great restaurants & pubs. Local amenities very short drive Morrisons, Aldi, M&S etc. We met Jill & Doug the owners, what a lovely couple who gave us many recommendations and hints & tips and a lovely touch with welcome gift. We very much enjoyed our stay at the garden house. It was even cuter in person and spotlessly clean. It was an easy walk into town and in a very peaceful neighborhood. I was a bit worried we’d be reliant on taxis but we only used one to get there from the train station in Leuchars and then back to the station. A good stay in St Andrews.

☺Property was very spacious, clean and well equipped. It was a very good,  quiet  location,close to town centre. Good private parking .

☹Unpleasant smell in entrance hall. Also slight smell in the apartment. Could have done with more refuse bags and dishwasher tablets.

We stayed at the Balone Garden Cottage on the outskirts of St Andrews and it was terrific! From the living and bedroom areas, you have a very beautiful view of a wheat field, the skyline and spires of the town, and on a clear day you can even see the sea! We even saw a lovely deer come extremely close to us.The furnishing was immaculate. Bathroom spacious, gorgeous and spotless. Nice controls for the radiators for the colder nights. Kitchen extremely functional. We had everything that we needed. Adequate wi-fi and TV for cozy and lazy days/nights, but you’ll want to explore St Andrews and the rest of Fife! Parking was spot on and much appreciated. The apartment was very comfortable, modern and beautifully decorated, exactly like the photos. It was so quiet and felt so private, even in the back garden, so was very relaxing to stay in, especially when lying on the very comfy large corner sofa. ☺TV satellite did not work- very few channels. Coffee machine did not work. No mirrors in 2 of the bedrooms and only 1 hairdryer- not great for 3 ladies !!!! Hot water in shower was fabulous. Beds very comfy.

We recently had a fabulous stay in No 3 Howard Place St Andrews.  The apartment was very clean spacious and very central .  Beds were comfortable and decor was very nice. Kitchen was very well equipped though we only used it for breakfast and the odd snack……no cooking for me it’s a holiday after all 🤣  The service from Shortstay St Andrews was also first class. Walkable to the centre of St Andrews which offers lots of variety for eating out and shopping!Very quiet area, great parking. Private garden area to sit out too. Tea, coffee, sugars and milks provided which was very welcome, as was the delicious shortbread left by our host.We even had a wave goodbye from a neighbour which was lovely! We stayed at Appleton House in Lower Largo .  It was a perfect location with beach access from the garden , lots of room for 7 of us , big tables inside and outside  to share meals together and 3 well stocked bathrooms . The kitchen had every piece of equipment you could wish for too . We absolutely loved the house - and it was reasonably priced which really helped .
And if you want to eat or drink out , the hotel and a pub are about 1minute away , and a little shop with all you need including ice cream . .
We enjoyed spending time in the house and must mention that it was very clean and beds were comfy , lots of cupboards and space . Definitely recommend and Lower Largo was a great place to spend a couple of days with access to the coastal path .

☹Unsafe, would stongly advise against staying. Fire alarm set off in building. Systems not set up to notify fire service. We were left outside for  with a baby and no support from company whatsoever.

The flat itself is lovely, and was very clean, It has most things you need, but there are also some things to be aware of. There is a posh coffee pod machine, but they do not provide pods to go in it, which doesn't really make sense. They do provide instant coffee and UHT milk sachets, but - what a shame when you have the machine there! The sleeping/lounge room has single glazed windows and is on a main road. The noise is significant and can be until quite late. Although you're on the top floor, it does nothing to diminish this and would suggest earplugs are essential!! The blinds are also fairly useless at blocking light, so be aware or take an eye-mask. The location itself is completely perfect with the main streets of the town, and beach/Old Course just a 5min walk away. The decor is classy and feels relaxed and homely. We enjoyed it despite those things we mentioned that could be improved (quite easily.... well, not the double glazing maybe!)

We booked and stayed at 5 Livingstone Crescent, St Andrews.

The property was great.  Clean, comfortable and some basic provisions (coffee, tea, salt etc) which were appreciated.

I’ve stayed at various properties in St Andrews as I’m a regular visitor and this property was by far the best value.  These guys are good at what they do and seem honourable, not like some of the rip-off artists in this sector.
